Terms of Service
1. Lawful Use
All services provided by Rowan Cloud may be used for lawful purposes only. Users are prohibited from transmitting, storing, or presenting any information, data, or material in violation of any United Kingdom federal, state, or city law. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, threatening or obscene material, and material protected by trade secret laws.
2. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rowan Cloud from any claims resulting from the use of the service that damages the user or any other party.
3. Prohibited Content
Prohibited content includes any material promoting illegal activities or causing harm to Rowan Cloud servers or any other server on the Internet. This encompasses, but is not limited to, pirated software, hacker programs or archives, and Warez sites.
4. Account Termination
If an account is found to contain illegal activity, illegal files, or violates the terms outlined herein, Rowan Cloud reserves the right to immediately terminate the service without notice.
5. Disk Usage
All account plans come with a predetermined disk allowance. Users exceeding this limit will be billed at £1.00 per gigabyte.
6. Fair Usage
"Unlimited" features are subject to fair use and should align with providing a standard publicly available website.
7. IRC (Internet Relay Chat)
IRC or IRC bots are not allowed on our servers.
8. Server Abuse
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server or customer of Rowan Cloud is strictly prohibited, and violators may face account cancellation without a refund.
9. Refusal of Service
Rowan Cloud reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at its sole discretion.
10. Billing
Billing occurs on the Account Activation Date, with payment due by the specified payment due date. Failure to make timely payments may result in immediate termination of the agreement.
11. Service Fees
Certain services carry a setup fee, and clients are responsible for outstanding fees upon termination.
12. Money Back Guarantee & Refund Policy
A 24-hour Money Back Guarantee is offered for new customers. Domains and SSLs are non-refundable. Account reactivation after non-payment incurs a £20.00 fee.
13. Account Deactivations
Accounts deactivated due to non-payment require a £20.00 reactivation fee.
14. Cancellation Refunds
No partial monthly fee refunds are provided. A 30-day notice is required for the cancellation of a dedicated server.

16. Disclaimer
Rowan Cloud is not liable for system downtime, crashes, data loss, or estimated profits. Services may be resold, and Rowan Cloud holds no responsibility for clients' account use.
17. Account Activation
By activating an account, users agree to the outlined policies and disclaimer.
18. Server Uptime Guarantee
Rowan Cloud guarantees 99% service uptime. Excessive downtime qualifies for a pro-rated refund.
19. Amendment of Policies
Rowan Cloud reserves the right to amend policies without notification.
